Advocacy, Disability and Support Groups

Early Development Network Parent Rights Video - This is an excellent video about the Early Development Network and the rights of parents throughout this process. Click on the link, scroll to the bottom of the page and hit play.

Ollie Webb Center - Provides programs and services to improve the lives of people with developmental disabilities.

PTI Nebraska - (Parent Training and Information) is a statewide resource for families of children with disabilities and special health care needs. 

The Arc of Nebraska - The Arc of Nebraska is a statewide organization that stands with individuals and families in advocating and supporting Nebraskans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Assistance

Iserve (Access) Nebraska - Application for Nebraska Children's Health Insurance Program and other assistance programs through the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

Heart Ministry Center - Providing food, clothing, healthcare and a way forward to people severely affected by poverty in the Omaha area.

NCHS - Nebraska Children's Home is here to help and support families who have adopted a child or entered into a guardianship in Nebraska.

Social Security Administration -The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program pays benefits to disabled adults and children who have limited income and resources.

United Healthcare Children's Foundation - to improve children’s lives and help families gain access to the care they need through medical grants. 

WIC (Women, Infants and Children) - Nebraska WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) is a supplemental nutrition program for women, infants and children.
